Equimec Paste for Horses

Equimec Paste is a multi-worm treatment for horses of all ages including mares and stallions. This oral formula kills a variety of internal parasites including adult and immature roundworms.

This easy-to-give equine treatment helps control multiple species of Large Strongyles (adult and arterial larval stages) and Small Strongyles (benzimidazole-resistant bloodworms). It also controls Hairworm, Pinworm, Bots, Intestinal threadworms, Neck threadworms and Lungworms. This low-dose composition controls skin lesions induced by Habronema, summer sores and Neck threadworm. It comes in a handy trigger applicator to deliver an adequate amount of treatment with each dose.

How it works?

Equimec Paste is formulated with ivermectin. The composition works by interfering with the neurotransmission and muscle functions of worms, causing paralysis and leading to the death of parasites. The formula aids in controlling roundworms, bots and summer sores. It also controls Benzimidazole-resistant worms along with Pinworms, Hairworms, Bots, Lungworms, threadworms, etc.
